Regulates transcription upon recruitment by YY1 to YY1-activated genes, where it acts as an essential coactivator (PubMed:17721549). Involved in UV-damage excision DNA repair (PubMed:20855601). The contribution to DNA double-strand break repair appears to be largely indirect through transcriptional regulation (PubMed:20687897). Involved in DNA replication (PubMed:20237820). Required for microtubule assembly during mitosis thereby regulating chromosome segregation cycle (PubMed:20237820). |

Immunofluorescence staining of Hela cells with CSB-PA892466LA01HU at 1:100, counter-stained with DAPI. The cells were fixed in 4% formaldehyde, permeabilized using 0.2% Triton X-100 and blocked in 10% normal Goat Serum. The cells were then incubated with the antibody overnight at 4°C. The secondary antibody was Alexa Fluor 488-congugated AffiniPure Goat Anti-Rabbit IgG(H+L).
