The product CSB-MA754656A0m is an unconjugated monoclonal antibody against the Tubulin alpha-1A chain (TUBA1A) from human. It is derived from the mouse myeloma cell-splenocyte hybridoma. The splenocyte is screened from the mouse immunized with the synthesized peptide derived from human TUBA1A protein (297-309aa) and can secret TUBA1A antibody. This TUBA1A antibody can react with TUBA1A protein from human, mouse, rabbit, and rat. It is matched with the mouse IgG2a isotype. Protein A-mediated purification of this TUBA1A antibody makes its purity up to more than 95%. This antibody has been validated for use in ELISA, WB, IHC, IF, IP, and FC applications.
The TUBA1A protein is part of the tubulin family of proteins that constitute microtubules. It is expressed in almost all post-mitotic neurons throughout neuronal development. Mutations in the TUBA1A gene result in a wide range of lissencephaly and brain malformations.
